This is really interesting!!! I wear glasses now that correct for binocular vision that went unnoticed for 43 years. The vision therapist said that there’s a relationship between how people see and how they perceive, and that’s what bowled me over about Mackereth’s article. I love the suggestion of duality and metacognition being related to how the body organizes perception physiologically.
Curious to hear if you seek prism lenses or what else you might do with this info. Best of luck getting the tests you’re hoping for!
